Another Street Demonstration On 13 June 2008 ?

According to HarakahDaily.net, another street demonstration will be held on 13 June 2008 organized by Pemuda Pakatan Rakyat. The program is to protest the increasing of the new oil price (might have another new pricing) and electrical charges issues. It will take place from Masjid Kg. Baru to Bangunan Suria KLCC.

Previously, street demonstration was held in Ipoh and attended by 100 people. Click Here

Lagi Minyak Mau Naik RM4.00 Ka?

Takut aku dibuatnya apabila mendengar khabar harga minyak mungkin akan dinaikkan buat kali ke-2 pada bulan Ogos 2008 ini. Dengar kata, harga minyak yang baru mungkin RM4.00/litre. Usah percaya dahulu dengar khabar ini, mungkin hanya khabar angin, TAPI tidak mustahil jika ia bakal berlaku kerana harga minyak di pasaran dunia semakin meningkat.

Dengan kenaikan minyak sebanyak RM0.78, dan dijual dengan kadar baru RM2.70 telah menimbulkan pelbagai reaksi yang kurang menyenangkan daripada peniaga dan pengguna, apatah lagi jika dinaikkan sekali lagi kepada RM4.00. Haru-biru keadaan dibuatnya.

Takut, sungguh takut. Kenaikan harga minyak boleh memberi impak yang besar kepada masyarakat dan negara terutama kepada golongan rendah dan sederhana. Apa yang paling membimbangkan ialah kadar jenayah berkemungkinan akan meningkat dan ramai rakyat akan hidup sengsara, terus sengsara. Andai ku tahu, kapan tiba masaku...

Street Demonstration In Ipoh Due To The Fuel Increased To RM2.70

Due to the increasing of petrol price, Pak Lah had to face the street demonstration in downtown Kuala Lumpur and in the northern city of Ipoh. Organisers said more than 100 people attended the Ipoh rally and that more demonstrations are planned for the coming weeks.

Sedih Lagi Sadis... Gara-Gara Minyak Naik

Rentetan kenaikan minyak sebanyak RM2.70 telah memberi pandangan negatif kepada Pak Lah di dalam mentadbir ekonomi negara. Bagi golongan atasan mungkin mereka tidak merasa ia suatu bebanan tetapi bagaimana kepada golongan bawahan (petani2, nelayan2 dan orang-orang miskin). Sebelum ini negara kita telah mengalami kenaikan barang makanan seperti beras dan lain-lain. Tidak diakhiri dengan isu minyak, kita bakal berhadapan dengan kenaikan elektrik pula nanti.

Sehubungan dengan itu rakyat-rakyat akan lebih sengsara dan terus sengsara sedangkan orang-orang kaya akan terus kaya dan kaya. Apakah dengan mengubah cara hidup (makan ubi kayu) dapat mengubah masa depan rakyat yang terus gemilang? Kesedihan rakyat dengan ucapan "makan ubi kayu" akan lebih terasa dan benar-benar menjadi realiti, lebih-lebih lagi kepada saudara Corpetro di dalam blog Chedet yang berbunyi...

saya yg paling terkena bila minyak naik ni....ini disebabkan saya berulang alik dari cyberjaya ke melaka. Skrang ni pun belanja minyak + tol saya pi keje rm 1000 sebulan....itu minyak harga rm1.92 je....aku rasa klu dengan rate skrang ni rm 2.70 mau kat rm 1500 untuk minyak kereta je!!!! kerajaan bg subsidi rm625 setahun tu cuma belanja minyak saya setengah bulan.

isteri saya pun x sanggup tgk saya sakit poket ujung bulan, malam tadi beliau buat keputusan untuk berenti belajar. dan kami akan pindah balik ke Seri Kembangan ujung bulan ni. Satu keputusan yg amat menyedihkan, tapi kami terpaksa menerimanya. Nak duduk asrama, anak saya nak letak mana pula...tak terjaga. Satu keluarga menangis mlm tadi. isteri nangis sebab dia kena berenti belajar, saya nangis sebab terharu dengan keputusan isteri, anak aku nangis sebab tgk mak ayah dia nangis...terima kasih kerajaan malaysia....

Untuk keluarga yg One Man income mcm saya ni, sure banyak effek...

Tariff elekrik pun akan naik tidak lama lagi, berikutan diesel naik rm 1.....ahhh...malas nak pk apa lagi yg akan naik.... chedet

Mengapa? Mengapa bukan golongan atasan sahaja yang mengubah kehidupan mereka? Mengapa tidak sahaja mereka menggadaikan separuh daripada kekayaannya untuk membangunkan negara demi kepentingan bersama? Ah! Pernahkah mereka memikirkan kebajikan orang lain selain kepentingan diri sendiri?

Minyak Naik RM2.70 - The new price of petrol is RM2.70 per litre

The new price of petrol is RM2.70 per litre beginning midnight tonight, it was announced a moment ago by Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Samad. Diesel will go up by RM1 per litre while the price for ULG 92 per litre went up by 74 sen. The 78 sen hike or 40 per cent increase for the ULG 97 petrol is still below the antiticpated RM4 per litre price projected earlier and among the cheapest in Asia.

What we have to do?

1. Buy small car or motorcycle is better.
2. Fill-up your gas early in the morning or late at night (it would help a bit, and never ask me why).
3. Don't go back from work during jam hour.
4. Never go to jam places.
5. Use public transports if you think it is much cheaper (I know it will take your time longer from one place to one place. Tired huh!)
6. Last but not least, buy mountain bike!

Pulau Batu Puteh Belongs To Singapore

THE HAGUE, May 23 (Bernama) -- The International Court of Justice here today ruled Singapore has sovereignty over Pulau Batu Puteh while Malaysia owns Middle Rocks, and South Ledge belongs to the state in whose territorial waters it is located.

The judgment brought to a close a 28-year-old territorial dispute between Malaysia and Singapore over the island which Singapore called Pedra Branca, Middle Rocks and South Ledge.

Pulau Batu Puteh is located 7.7 nautical miles off the coast of Johor's Tanjung Penyusuh.




Both countries have pledged to abide by the decision of the ICJ, the principal judicial organ of the United Nations, whose decision is final and not subject to appeal.

Malaysia and Singapore have also repeatedly emphasised that whatever decision handed down by the ICJ, would not strain ties between the two neighbours.

The judgment was delivered by ICJ Vice-President Shawkat Al-Khasawneh, who was the Acting President in the case, at 10am Netherlands time and ended reading out the verdict five minutes before noon.

The delivery of the judgment was televised live by RTM from The Hague, Netherlands.

Shawkat and 15 other judges had heard oral submissions by both countries from Nov 6-23 last year more...

I received 3 SMSes early this morning telling me that I had won an RM14.000 cash cheque from ASTRO MALAYSIA and was even asked to call their foreign 13-digit office phone number to confirm and collect my winning prize.

But, I am so curios and not that stupid to call the foreign number because we were warned not to fall for such an obvious swindle and I also:

• Using postpaid line Not prepaid line.
• Never join any contest via mobile phone.

The SMS was sent by +60128421973 and sounds like this.

"TAHNIAH! Prepaid Anda Berjaya Memenangi Cek,-RM 14.000,-Dari ASTRO MALAYSIA
Sila dial Nomber Talian Office: 0062817744679 Terima Kasih."

• Now take a look at the SMS clearly. Look at 'Memenangi Cek,-RM 14.000', the amount number is wrong!
• Please notice 'Sila dial Nomber Talian', and where is the mistake? Yes, the Nomber! This word never exist in any dictionaries unless it was created by this SCAM Team.

If you received the same SMS please delete it immediately and never call the given number because they will ask for your bank account number. After they get your bank account, your money in the bank account will gone. They will steal your money via digital media (money transfer) from your account to their account. What the heck!

Please forward this message to everyone you know and save people from being cheated by SMS SCAM.
